New Carlos Hyde Video with Audio and Transcript

By now, everyone has seen the surveillance video of Ohio State running back Carlos Hyde hitting a woman at a Columbus bar last month.  The incident looked like it could be the end of Carlos Hyde's career since Urban Meyer is well known as such a strict disciplinarian*.  In fact, Meyer put up this sign in the locker room to remind players of the high standards at Tosu.

Sure, the cynics out there might say that, "They need a big sign to remind their players not to steal?"  But those are just haters.

Following the incident in the video below, Carlos was suspended for three games - Buffalo, SDSU and Cal.  So what really happened that night at the bar?  The silent video most people have seen doesn't tell the whole story.  Now, for the first time, the MZone has obtained a copy of the surveillance video that contains sound and a transcript of what was said.  We think it shines an entirely new flashlight on the incident.  You be the judge:

* Yes, I had to clean off my computer screen after typing that due to the spit take.

I couldn't resist, SiC. Flashlights? Nerf Guns (or squirt guns)? It was such a comedy-rich environment.

It's August again, so I thought I would check in and take a look around.
Was. Not. Disappointed.
Bravo Yost!

I go on vacation and come back to this. I guess Urban should have followed the lead of Michigan Man Les Miles and let the team decide on Carlos Hyde's fate. I dod suspect he would have had a lesser suspension if not for the Hernandez issues.

Your version was funny though. Not sure I would admit to owning some of the music you used, but that's just me.

And I guess I am getting old, I don't recall flashlights at the club back in the day. Or toy guns for that matter.

Les is one of the most successful coaches in college football over the last 10 years. he's expressed an interest in the job both times it's been open, and we haven't interviewed him for it.

that's not a coincidence.

sic,

I have mostly seen stories saying Les turned Michigan down, but not the reverse.

However, after a little digging I did see this Bacon article.

I'm wondering if this is another case of what the defintion of is is. It sounds like they met, but maybe it wasn't an interview but a meeting saying thanks for being intrested, but no thanks.

It still falls on Bo that he failed to properly mold a young Aaron Hernandez, err, Les Miles to take some responsibility for your decsions.

Realizing that it was 1:30am and they still had not attracted any females, Carlo's posse brings out the big guns:
