Michigan vs. Alabama Open Thread

The season is finally upon us!

Leave us all your thoughts, comments and general what not about the Michigan/Bama game and any other Saturday action you care to discuss.

And because Rigby gave us two great choices for this poster the other day, here's the color version...

Miami of Ohio is smoking Ohio State in the first quarter. May be time for Urban Meyer to slow down and spend more time with his family.

Just checking out the "FIRE BILL O'BRIEN.COM"

This is painful thus far.

Perhaps this is what you get for doing things ethically.

well, this happens. as sobering as it is, it's a chance to see if our second year coach can stuff the guts back in these kids and salvage something out of this season.

tsio had this happen in 2008- got spanked by USC & still turned in a 10 win season.

Lloyd dropped a big game(s)early in 2003, 2004, 2005 & 2007- still managed to make something out of those teams (probably the one thing i'll give Carr credit for).

so, let's see if Brady can put these guys back on track the next couple of weeks, and go into South Bend headed in the right direction.

Found a hotspot while camping. Heard part of the game. When I listened, Denard hit a 70ish yard pass. For your sake sounds like I should have listened more it seems.

My condolences. That 41-14 scores seems familiar somehow. I seem to recall another B1G school on and even bigger national stage got rolled that way. As I said in my preview, I thought your D would have some issues, but from what I heard and the little I read this morning I did not expect the back seven troubles. And outside of that late second quarter drive I was surprised at how little Denard did. That throw was great, but they didn't seem to use his feet, he had 10 rushes, I think? Maybe they were trying not to get him killed.

As SiC said, it is a long season and you guys can still win the B1G. At least it was the reigning national champ. It could have been OHIO. Phil's right, at least part of Penn State nation has buyers remorse.

On the plus side... son loved this pic so much, it has been duly stolen and printed to tape inside his school binder.

I wish to God I could install a spellchecker here. Or use a browser with one built in.

Anyhow, I'm betting Ramona's son has the healing pic taped inside his locker. :)

He doesn't use his school locker Dennis :) Way back when we used to put everything in our lockers.. today the lockers are about 3 inches wide and might hold a light jacket. Also he has not graduated to silicone yet, still mainly interested in sports and maintaining As with 4 advanced classes this fall!
