Better Late Than Never: MSU Healing Pictures

I had no idea how, uh, "important" this feature was to our readers.  But your tweets and comments were heard.  For those of you who might be new to the site, allow me to recap:

Back during the days of  The Original MZone (respect), Benny and I put up some pictures of attractive coeds after a tough Michigan loss (I can't even remember which one now) as a way to help "heal" the wounds of said loss.  And it really seemed to help our readers...cope.  When The MZone went dark, the feature was continued by Andy and T9 on Spawn of MZone (sadly, this was during the darkest days of the Rich Rod Regime and thus rather than something put up a couple times a season, the posts might as well have just been re-titled "Monday").

Flash forward to the present and, judging by your "outrage" at the lack of said pics/feature in the wake of Saturday's MSU loss, the feature is more popular than we ever imagined.  Who am I to argue?  So see below.  The voice of the people was heard!

Please note that I can't even take credit for finding the pictures today.  Rather, I got the following email from MZone reader Joe...

In case you didn't have time to research this week:

...with, let's just say, a lot more than the pictures I used here embedded in the email.  Well done, Joe!  See, folks, it's this kind of selfless act that defines a horny dude a Michigan Man the MZone reader.

ED. NOTE: For those of you who inevitably comment after the healing posts, "Dude, you should put up a 'NSFW' to warn people reading the site at work!", there's more risque stuff on Telemundo. Much more importantly, if that's your first thought upon seeing the above, it's either a) time to quit your current job if someone is looking over your shoulder that much or b) finally the sign you've been waiting for to go out and start your own company.

You're welcome.

I wonder what is on the back of the second pic's bottoms?

My vote: Go for 2.

Bless you Yost.

This is the distraction I have appreciated following a loss since Mzone 1.0...

Shouldn't the bottom on picture #2 read "touchdown" instead??

As if it distracts from the healing effects...not so much.

OK day 1 of healing...

Gonna need a few more days. I think a lil healing should be implemented into every post this week.

Now if this is on the table for a vote, I vote in favor of not missing the healing pics if you were never to post another one ever again. I SUSPECT I will be outvoted, though, so instead will continue skipping over them. The clear majority of your readers evidently really are comforted by pictures of bad plastic surgery so, more power to them... The exception being the crotch shot or woman laying on her stomach from last week. At some point it crosses over from healing to just demeaning. But that's just my opinion.

Nope, another female here. Although I do understand this blog is not geared toward us women, therefore I may not be like some of your other female readers getting offended by such posts. I understand boys will be boys enjoying the "healing" posts...

@Ramona: Although they may be demeaning to us women with class & integrity, the women in these pictures are not being forced to dress and pose provocatively. In no way shape or form do I condone these type of photos, as it leads many men to believe all women look/dress this way, but this is their choice to be viewed as a 'sex object,' not mine and you can't blame the men for wanting to look. You dangle a steak in front of a tiger, you expect it to turn its head

Agreed totally Cali and yes boys will be boys. It may be difficult to define a line, but for me the line is clear, and it has nothing to do with choices. Many women make poor choices. The line is between attractive women strutting their stuff, which there is nothing wrong with, and women whose dignity is being violated (or worse) and thus give the impression that is must be OK since it's captured on film. I am sure that no man here would want their wife or daughter in that situation? But I'm all about the First Amendment and make no effort to censor, only to avoid!

As a long time fan and occasional commenter, I always laugh at the healing pics and skip past to the funny comments, but a while ago T9 changed it up a bit for us ladies and added the female perspective to the healing...I request equal time for us!! Little Matthew Mcconahey (sp?), some fine models from the world of sports...I'm open to options...heck, M man Tom Brady shirtless...GO BLUE!
