Hail Hail! Hubby bought me tickets so I could take his brother (hubby likes watching it on TV) I will be there to cheer in person today. His brother has never been to a game, so that adds even more excitement! COME ON MICHIGAN!!!!! Come out of that tunnel like you went into last week!!! GO BLUE!

My mom and I are heading up north today. So it is Frank and Brando for me.

So Rich Rod says he is upset that he didn't get a chance to eat the cookies - well I for one am happy that I no longer have to toss my cookies watching his defense play.

GO BLUE!

Is sdsu that bad or is this team starting to show they are for real? I'm happy to report this is a beer free game so far. Lol

That ohohohohohohhhhhh song is fn annoying. What are we Penn state?

wingedhelmet said...

This team is getting better and better. Could it be coaching?

GO BLUE!

BAH, I think it's a little of both. I was worried about SDSU before the game but it seems, at least at halftime they were a bit over-hyped. I will not be fooled until we are into the big ten schedule.

When was the last time you heard an announcer say "it will be tough to but up points against this Michigan Defense"?

Bigasshammm said...

If nothing else the defense is vastly improved. SD shreds last years defense.

wingedhelmet said...

Er.."put". Reading may be fundamental, but proofing is essential.

Yea winged I had to delete my last post cause I can't spell. Phone doesn't make it any easier.

If Denard could throw accurately we'd be super scary.

How many times is the O going to hang the D out to dry? Seriously.

I am impressed with the hustle of this Hoke coached team. I am concerned about the DR passing game but, I like this team.

GO BLUE

Awesome! Totally awesome! Suck eggs Turley.

I love the new scoreboards and I LOVE the piped band music. It was difficult to hear them unless you sat near the student section, now, it really is awesome to hear them all through the game.

I really was worried a bit.......SOOO happy they came out strong and fast. DR.....holy SHIT he is fast.....Slightly dissapointed that they came out flat after halftime, but they picked it back up. I love that vincent fumbled it and the very next offensive play, they threw it to him. (I didn't love that he fumbled it, just that they put him back in the saddle). Some dude sitting behind me was a downer and that sucked a bit. I too will hold my breath for conference play....but I do believe.....we are headed for something we have been waiting for.....if not this season.....sometime very soon! GO BLUE!

Wow!!
well...
--Denard DID throw a perfect pass couple of times that was dropped!
--Guys at work grumbling about how our defense wouldn't hold up against SD State's fantastic offense? I think they were..wrong

Caring Hands Glass Art, Fine Jewelry and Gemstones said...

I agree Ramona, DR did throw some good balls that were not caught. I liked what Hoke said in his presser. He felt that Denard may have made one bad decision, but he needs to see what plays they had called to determine anything else.

Does anyone else hear that if we didn't have DR we wouldn't have a good team? I swear that is all I hear from sparty and ND fans. I am like.....seriously? How do you think DR gets the holes to run it? The O line.....and how do you think we keep the other team from scoring, especially when we give it over 4 times.....the D......so YES, we love DR and are very happy to have him, but he isn't the whole team!

One more thing. I will admit that I was disturb when we hired Hoke, I was wrong. He IS the right man for the job and he is going to bring us back from hell. (and I am sorry I can't get my log in back to just Catie.....I think I deleted it accidently. I will fix it soon)

That is all.

so if we didn't have DR we wouldn't have a good team? yeah. that's like saying the Tiger's aren't very good w/ out Verlander or the Patriots w/out Brady: absolutely correct, and so what?

Denard is one the most dynamic players in college football. we would be no where near as good w/ out him. so what?

we do have him. he is great. and we're a lot better w/ him than w/ out him.

i can live w/ that. ;)

SIC, NICE!!! I love it! Perfect way to put it! Thanks!

Denard is one of the best college athelets out there, and with his attitude which I consider the best in ALL college sports he will go down as one all time greats! And thats a observation from a buckeye, wish TOSU had landed him instead of your typical selfish me first attitude Terrel Pryor. But he should not be 80% of the rushing yards cause his body is not the type to take the pounding all season. They need to evolve his passing game so he is not running so much, but there in lies the problem and his greatest assest his running ability and his willingness to help his team at all costs! I wish nothing but the best for that youngman but the coaches need to install a short yard, high percent pass scheme for him cause he arm is not that strong. And for my u of m friends remember the last 3 seasons you guys were 4-0 untill the real schudule starts, my buckeyes ran into that reality at miami a couple weeks ago.

there's reality, and then there's reality.

I've been impressed with Michigan's D this year. ND seems to have a very good offense when not shooting themselves in the foot. SDSU had a good running back that you contained nicely. I am impressed with what you have been able to do with the talent you have. I could see you going 8-0 before November. November, I'm not so sure about, but that's true for most teams. This is just one of those years where I'm really not sure how good some folks are. Or in the case of my beloved Buckeyes, how bad. I'm not sure I'll learn much this weekend either since Sparty has been equally mediocre. Next weekend may be ugly.

We are going to have the same weakness you guys have at QB should something happen to Miller. I should be clear, we don't have the same strength at QB.

Conrats on your win, enjoy the RR cookies. ;) I hadn't heard about that quote until I saw wingedhelmet's post.
