If you're a longtime reader of the MZone, you know our history with ESPN "personality" Colin Cowherd. So it's no secret that we're not big fans of his work.
Apparently we're not alone...

George C. Scott rules
Yost,
Did you realize that this movie was filmed here in the 616? Yeah, it was the first major motion picture filmed here and the second one is in theaters now, "30 Minutes or Less."
616...Yeah, GR made the bigtime with Hardcore. I remebering going to The Movies by Woodland and the whole audience cracking up at the opening scene of Campau Square and the Pantlind Hotel. And the director was a Calvin grad and they all thought it was going to be a religious movie.
George C. Scott is a better man than I. I would have been running screaming from the theater after about 25 seconds.
Defensewinsgames...irony rings true again in "30 Minutes or Less" as the topless bar in the movie is a commerical lot away from the IHQ for the Christian Reformed Church near 28th Street and Kalamazoo Ave...only those who live (or have lived) in the 616 can appreciate the irony...
Did something new happen with cowturd or are we just dead horse beating?
Hammm... cannot be a horse that creates a cowturd but a cowturd would come out of a cow's ass but since he is a horse's ass I am not sure. What???
There is probably always something happening with Cowherd. Besides, that's a dead horse worth beating.
616,
Didn't realize Hardcore was actually shot in GR (or 30 Minutes, either).
Absolutely classic! A masterpiece! You may commence encore-beating-cowherd's-horse-ass anytime.
Fucking fantastic
Thanks, Shorty and Reed! I was chuckling as I made it. Glad folks liked it. Got a lot of linkage around the interwebs the last 24 hrs. Pretty cool.
