Also, I'm pretty sure UM is the only official source on this, not Fox, not ESPN. Not that I expect this to be false.

I wanted RR to succeed because, hey, it's all about Michigan football. That said, Dave Brandon sure as hell better know what he's doing. This HAS to be a home run hire.
Well, BPD, I wouldn't say it's over quite yet. I hope we get someone good who hates OSU, ND and MSU.
It shouldn't be too difficult to get someone who hates all three of those teams. for ND, we sit him front of a TV with picks in his eyes and make him watch "Rudy" repeatedly. For State, we have a few Spartans throw a "housewarming" party for him. For Ohio State, everyone should hate Ohio State by default.

Nope, it's never really over. Next will be whatever coaching search there is. Followed by the wait to see how that coach recruits. Then, the wait to see how that coach runs practices. Then we have to wait to see that coach in his first game. Then his first game against Ohio State. And on and on and on. Anyway, you get the idea, happily ever after is only an illusion.

ha but i don't think $$ is the issue for getting harbaugh. i think harbaugh loves the west coast - his wife definitely loves it - and i think he's intrigued by coaching in the nfl like his brother.

Please, does anyone honestly believe the first year will be worst than 3 - 9? He had one win against a ranked team. If anyone should be panicking, it should be tUOS.
Well Hoke is already 0-2 against Tressel at Michigan - plus we were panicking when it was announced that RichRod was the hire.
Truth be told the Big Ten's not coming back as a power conference until you and penn state are back so begrudgingly i understand the importance of this being a good hire, whoever it is.
No dancing yet....things are still unconfirmed and sources are backing away from the story.

Three years ago Herstreit reported Les Miles to Michigan. Les Miles then held a press conference saying that he would not leave LSU. After this we hired RR.
Earlier today Herbstreit said he thinks JH will be Michigan's next coach after RR has been "apparently" fired. What if this is some kind of curse and we end up with RR again. Let the Panic ensue. ;)
