Yesterday we pointed out that our Gator Bowl opponent, Mississippi State, has a fever and the only cure is more cowbell.
Well, apparently "more cowbell" has gotten them in trouble in the past as evidenced by this PSA video put out by MSU called "Respect the Bell: Ring Responsibly."
Uh oh.
Why do I have a feeling that Michigan fans traveling to Jacksonville for the game are going to feel about the cowbell the way most soccer fans felt about the vuvuzela after the World Cup?

The cowbells make the vuvuzuelas sound like a small wind chime in a summer breeze... But what choice do they have? Their teams are generally so suckass awful that the fans have to resort to the noise equivalent of waterboarding to give their team any kind of advantage they can.
Silicone earplugs - not the foam ones. Silicone. Trust me on this. In fact, if you want to make some money? Buy a gross of them from some industrial supply place, and sell them for $2 a pair outside the stadium.
