I saw the pic below on Yahoo and felt pain in my own leg just looking at it. Apparently the injury is from from an English Premeir League soccer match over the weekend in central England.
You know even Joe Theisman was going "HOLY FUCKING SHIT!" when he saw this.
This is gonna leave a mark.

It's probably just a stinger...
The pain is unbearable to even look at the photo and imagine what he felt..........owwwieeee!!!
I worked in ER my entire clinical career......I have seen some crazy stuff......sports injuries like that just make you cringe. He has a long recovery!
I'm GUMBY dammit!!
This reminds me of that old kickboxing video where the guy kicks his opponents and his leg bends in half.

Makes you cringe on so many levels.
doesn't it look sort of like his shoe slipped off?
Catie, one of my friends works in ER of Houston Children’s' Hospital and I am just amazed at the stories that she tells when we call each other. Nurses are some of the toughest people that I have ever met.
And peopel say that football(soccer) is for pussies. Glad it didn't happen to Torres or Gerrard. Get well soon, Eduardo.
kml: Didn't know you were a KOPper also. Without the Golden Boy or Stevie G, there would be absolutely no hope for the 'Pool.
DeSilva is a damn good player. Arsenal will miss him down the stretch.

Correct. American scouse would be another term, I guess. Not looking good this year for the league, although the Reds still have a chance at the UEFA. After the App State game this year, and the Barnsley result, 2 teams that I support have suffered "the biggest upset ever" this year.
Gumby? Awesome.
There's a video of this, supposedly with his tibia and fibula poking through his sock. Then I saw that description I said no thanks, the still pic is bad enough.
reminds me of Theesman (it's pronounced Thee- the tool changed pronounciation to rhyme w/ Heisman) on the Monday night game. the most memorable part was L.T.'s immediate reaction and the 5 to 10 minutes of commercials that followed. after i had gotten up for a a beer the second time during the break, i realized it must be some injury. when they came back & he was still on the field? yeech.
