Wow, it really is the end of an era today.
No reverse blog psychology (I think it would take that and then some for Michigan to pull this off if I set my maize and blue bias aside and look at the match up objectively), just a sincere wish for Carr and his squad to have a great game.
Go Blue!
UPDATE:
Meeeeechigan - 41, Florida - 35
I have to tell you, folks, that victory felt as good as any in a looooong time. I'm so thrilled for Coach Carr, I can't stand it. Way to go, Coach. Thank you.
Much more to come later, but I have to get my heart rate back to a manageable level first.

The roiling cauldron of emotions engulfing Lloyd, his staff, the players; even the equipment managers has got to be today’s major story-line. How the team responds could make this one of the better bowl games.
Here’s to your victory and the end of an era. May your glass (aluminum can, flask) never be empty and may the gatorbrats be tasty.
RBP wasn't working at the end of the season anyway!
I DO think we have a chance Hart + Henne+ Healthy = A chance!! I continue to think of what we thought this team was going to be before September 1st and that is who could win this game. I believe that who could show up today, THAT team.
LET'S GO BLUE!!!!!!!!
Just like the night I lost my virginity I'm terrified and excited all at the same time, and just hoping it's not over too quickly. I think we all know how that ended....
GO BLUE!
Joshua,
You shouldn't be so negative toward your Aunt Buela. She was just trying to help.
College Game Day on ESPN....gotta love it!
GO WISKY!
GO Illinois!
GO BLUE!!!!!
GO WARRIORS!
(Whets, that is just sick, sick I tell ya!)
Help? It cost me twenty bucks! And that's a lot of allowance money when you're 8 years old.
Nice review of R2 on Game Day. They are split on what they think of R2 coming out winning or taking a year to be a winner. Saying Pryor is the key. Interesting.
BTW: Coach Carr won coach of the year! Nice.
"Coach Carr won coach of the year! Nice."
I thought Mangino won that earlier. What am I missing here, besides correct information.
Joshua,
Twenty bucks!! Wow, I thought you'd get a family discount.
"What am I missing here, besides correct information."
How 'bout a question mark, moron!
The Bobby Dobb
http://www.freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080101/SPORTS06/301010028/1123/SPORTS03
He was presented with it yesterday.
"Twenty bucks!! Wow, I thought you'd get a family discount."
That was the family discount. That Aunt Buela's one high class broad.
Argh! No Gameday is driving me nuts. No bar open until at least 11, and I can't find it steaming anywhere online. Pryor is the key, eh? Interesting.
Gotta go shower and get ready to head out. (Definition of "shower" included for dirty Buckeye fans.)
Happy New Year everybody. Go Blue!
Happy New Year Joshua. Did you hear that Pryor is coming for a visit to Michigan in a month AND he said his decision has no bearing on what Mallett does.
Well damn you Whets, now my comment needs a question mark...:P
BTW...Happy New Year Whets!
Nice job Wisky! ESPN showed the teams arriving for the game. Tennessee looked like a bunch of rednecks and Wisky were in suits and ties! I was impressed!
Hmm, committing Saturday, visiting in a month? Fishy. I still like our chances tho.
Whets, I'll get you an address and such later today- hopefully you'll have those shirts for the NC game but you have to promise to take some pics for me. Someone might as well get some joy out of them.
Go Blue! and I'll see you all after the game- last year I missed the Boise St. game b/c I had an open (free) tab at the bar and didn't make it past 8pm. And they thought they were doing me a favor, ha!
Good luck to the Wolverines!
Florida deserves everything they get.
If Auburn's offense last night is any indication of what R2 is bringing to A2...it's gonna be
F U N
Happy New Year to all
GO BLUE
BEAT THE GATORS
Happy New Year T9 - Enjoy the sun!
GO BLUE!!!!!!!!!!!!
I don't know... If Michigan cannot get up for a game against tOSU right after Bo passes away, I cannot see them winning one for the gipper er, Carr, today.
93, shame on you! Have faith!! It IS possible! Just think of what the team was suppose to be before September 1st.....THAT team could pull it off....just hope they show up! So let's hear your battle cry now!
GO BLUE!!!!!!
(Ps, Happy New Year!)
Poor Donovan is having a crap day for injuries!
Did you see that Joe Montana's son is going to walk on at ND as a quarterback next year? Joe said that ND is going to be MUCH better......deep down, I believe him, but I hope it takes 5 years to become good again....I am enjoying their horridness!
15 minutes peeps!! My flag is waving in the window, I have on my game shirt. LET'S GO BLUE!
Not even a battle cry from you peeps??? Kick off coming in minutes! (If they would get to the frickin game already!)
GOOOOOOO BLUE!!!!
Let's hear it peeps!!
Katie... I'm not doubting Michigan, I just think that emotion doesn't appear to motivate these guys. And judging by the pre-game shots, the Gators are already in their heads with that dancing and smack talking at midfield... gawd how I hat that shit in sports!
... and apparently my New Years wish for Mike Hart to keep his fucking mouth shut was just wishful thinking.
OMFG!!! They are running a spread! SHIT!!!! This is sooo awesome!!!
Here's to a UM victory, and to everyone reading this having a happy, safe and prosperous New Year.
Let me know if you want any Gator meat, i still have some in my freezer from last January.
Hi WIng! Happy New Year! Oh baby, if we keep up this pace and our D shows up in similar form, we are going to have all the gator meat that we can eat! SHIT!!!!! Did you see that first drive? OMFG!
Katie,
the 1st drive looked great. Let's just hope they stay consistent, but i do like what i'm seeing from UM today. Now, if only Wisconsin was as cooperative.
Big 10 needs the Wolverines and Badgers to win. Personally, i really like what i'm seeing from the Wolverine defense. Haha, the kick goes wide.
Thanks Wing.......the first serious by the offense and the defense just totally made my day! I pray that they keep it up, big time and slice those gators into paper thin lunch meat! GO BLUE!
can we run a play without the clock running down to 1 sec? I for one cant wait till next year
Such a good game....omg.....some old mistakes linger, but wow, so fun to watch this team.
My overall thoughts so far:
Where was this offense all season?
Barring the retarded trick play that they tried to setup 4 times before they haven't run an offense like this all year. Is this the RichRod influence?
Go Blue!
Chad Henne still sucks
I forgot to mention Ron English's "swiss cheese" defense still sucks. I'm glad he was fired and feel sorry for Louisville who has to deal with him now. (I may be wrong on the Louisville but I've been drinking.)
This is the team that we thought they were before September 1st. Some same old same old mistakes, but I am in heaven right now! They MUST keep it up for the entire game. GO BLUE!
If Mike Hart put as much fucking effort into playing fucking football instead of running his fucking mouth, Michigan would be up by three scores now!ls0n
ARRGGHHHH!!!! This is painful, and glorious and.....Crap!
Katie I think you summed it up. It's nice to finally see our offense play to its capabilities, but the turnovers are so frustrating.
Yes, the turnovers suck big donkey d***. We can still do this....God ....Please....we can....Please.
I gotta think that Henne killed himself in the draft by coming back for his senior year. But today, he sure has helped it again. And both pics were off of trick plays.
And if Michigan wins this game, it is despite Mike Hart.
Is Michigan gonna run it three times to the left to try to kill the clock?
I sure hope not... stay aggressive BLUE!!!!! It got you thus far!
Hold on baby! Go Big Ten!
Great for Lloyd. He was no Buckeye killer, but you can't argue with the fact that he's a classy guy.
Congrats guy.
7-3 against the SEC in bowl games... best conference ever? HA HA HA HA... look at all that SEC speed as the Gators head for the showers in defeat!!!
Now, go Illinois!!!
Holy cow. Congrats on a great win, and a great finish for Lloyd and the seniors. It felt weird cheering for UM, but I'm really glad your guys pulled it out.
Now, here's hoping Illinois and the Bucks pull out similarly amazing wins.
OH MY F***ING GOD!
That was the best game EVER!
HAIL TO THE VICTORS!!!
Coach Carr is 3-0 vs Urban legend...let that soak in.
Gotta be a good offseason.
Go Blue!!!
Grats Blue!
From a Knoxville Buckeye...
Now I can go back to hating you for another 363 days
No "healing pictures" needed this time! Great win, Lloyd.
Go Blue!
What a game! WOOHOOO!!!
Urbie can suck it. :-)
Thanks, Lloyd and best wishes!
Happy New Year everybody!!
speechless
What an excellent ball game! Way to stick it to them! Just wish we could have done it last year. I am glad you didn't play like that against Ohio State! I am so happy for carr, Hart, Henne nad Manningham. Glad they got this one. Although Hart tried to blow it a few times! Way to go BLUE!! GO BIG 10!!!!!!!!!!
Now please cross your fingers for my Buckeyes next week!
What a f*cking awesome game.
Go Blue!
That should answer the brags about the SEC speed
The Buckeyes thank Carr and the entire team! What a great game!
It wonderful to see Florida get manhandled with all that Wolverine speed!
Way to restore some dignity to the program and the Big Ten! SEC fans were getting a bit obnoxious and needed a healthy dose of "Shut your mouth!"
Congrats to Carr! Classy man! Good to see him go out on a positive note!
Good game, Michigan! You won with style, class and hard work! Enjoy you win.
Let's see how Drew Sharp spins this victory!
Great win! Michigan was cleary the better team on the field today. Where the heck was that offense all year? They would have easily had 50 points today if it wasn't for the turnovers.
I'm glad to see Lloyd Carr go out with a win.
Go Illini! Go Bucks!
Really, truly, bittersweet. Great to beat UF and spend the offseason the right way...finally...savoring a win that NO ONE (at least 91%) thought Michigan could do.
The sweet...post game press conference is as good as the game on Espn News. Congratulations to all who endured this season from the ridicule of the App St. loss to the joy and jubilation of beating an SEC media darling. I put cash money on Miles helping to scheme vs Urban legend.
So much to process but enjoying the rush of all the Happy Happy Joy Joy that goes with this.
The bitter...seeing a truly wonderful human being and tremendous coach to his end. Hope Coach Carr takes the assistant AD job. Change is coming it will be good but all of college football can learn from Coach Carr's examples.
Blurbing, thanks all. Go Blue!!!
ps- it's a LONG offseason, can we get some more healing type pics to celebrate Coach Carr's retirement and the pain that it brings?
Just a quick note to say thanks for all the classy comments from Buck fans here. This win was big for Michigan, but for the Big 10 as well.
We didn't look so slow today, that's for damn sure.
Go Blue!
Wow!!! That's all I can say after watching that game. Michigan looked awesome. And I really liked the shot with Mr. Heisman and the clump of grass in his helmet...He got pasted.
a very big CONGRATS from Buckeyes in SoCal. a very big win for michigan and the big 10. very well done!
hope we can do the same!

Saw a few Appalachain State shirts there.
How's that feel ?
Amen Yost.
Amen.
Can I start the petition for the:
"zYour team got beat by the team that got beat by Appalacian State" shirts ?
Fiu from collegefootballnews.com on the win and what it means. Good read.
http://cfn.scout.com/2/716023.html
As far as the game goes I still have a smile on my face. I think it will stay on there for a long time. Great to see Mike, Chad, Jake, Adrian, and all the Seniors go out on top.
As far as Llyod goes he's been the coach for most of my Michigan fan life so it's gonna be strange next year when they come out of the tunnel without him. Still what a way to end an era.
Ok, two questions. What does it mean when they wave their hand in front of their face (usually after some type of play)
and two
What good do those skinny arm bands do for the players? They look like they are cutting off circulation!
Killing My Liver,
ALREADY DONE.
Obviously these didn't workout, but I have Michigan State one's too. Website coming so at no profit to me.
GREAT GAME BIG BLUE!!! SOOOO GLAD MIKE HART IS GONE!!LLOYD SHOULD'VE BENCHED HIS BUTT SO MANY TIMES!!!
WHAT ABOUT THE SMILING FACE AFTER THE FIRST OF HIS TWO TO'S?!?! HE'S SO BUSY TRYING TO GET ON THE HIGHLIGHT REEL, HE FORGOT TO HANG ONTO THE BALL!!! THE REST OF THE TEAM WAS TERRIFIC!!!!! THAT IS MICHIGAN BALL!!!! GREAT JOB WOLVERINES!! CONGRATS COACH!!!
* or SOON at no profit to me. :)
Katie, don't know that you want to know, according to San Diego girl it's.....explicit.
And hey Kristy! Nice you could join us! Now GO TAKE YOUR CAPS AND YOUR OPINION OF ONE OF THE BEST UM BACKS EVER AND GO PLAY IN TRAFFIC.
just got back to my brothers place - in orlando- after attending the game.
what an amazing game, great to sit in the Michigan fan section - lots of high fives to people we don't even know.
I know I'll remember today for the rest of my life - really it was like my own mastercard commercial -- priceless.
Hey ya Crock, I was thinking about you! Glad you enjoyed!
Joshua, the hand in front of the face is explicit? I guess I should have guessed it and of course I want to know...geeshh!
Katie,
Think, um, well.....scents. As in a certain Al Pacino movie, Scent of a Woman.
As in "Yeah, I just scored!"
ahhhhhhh, wow! Note to self, girls should never do this move...LOL.
@crock
Was there, too. I was 330, In the middle of the NRA apparently. Great game, and the atmosphere was electric.
Actually it's supposed to be a great movie, about a blind guy and romance, and NOT referring in any way to said hand gesture. Just the only way I could describe the connotation in a semi-safe way.
Oh me Oh my, that was very thrilling. The game has been over for hours now and I'm still buzzing!
and Joshua, ROTFL at your comment to Kristy.
I have seen the movie and it is very good....but if what you meant is what I think you meant....then....wow....that is like worse than giving the finger! LOL
So I'm down here in FLA and after our game I ran out to the local Publix for some 'supplies'
This OSU fan literally stops his car in the parking lot to roll down his window and--get this--CONGRATULATE me (in my Michigan gear)
He said he was rooting for Michigan and was thrilled!?!?
But--even better?
When I was walking out, the guy wearing the Florida shirt caught sight of me and looked down and away lest he catch my eye! Too bad Gatey, I saw you first. HA!
I just S M I L E D a big ol' knowing grin.
Nothing to say, really.
Except, well-done Blue.
Way to send Coach out.
It's GREAT
to BE
a
Michigan
Wolverine
now I'm just feeling sad for the Zookers....
T9
I saw a few people at the game with OSU gear on. I thought that I had balls showing up, but those guys, .......wow ....
Yo T9! Illinois is taking a beating! I feel so bad for them! It is no fun to get trampled on!
Oh--and to steal a comment from my bro'
THIS is what it feels like to WIN on New Year's Day!!!!
AMAZING
1-0 in 2008.
hey krisy, I made a post in my blog to explain Mike's smiling face after his turnover.
sorry bout the bit of self promoting too.
http://tinyurl.com/3a2ct5
sorry if my writing sucks, but it's one of my few attempts to write fake news like the everythreeweekly which is in circulation around the U of M campus.
that'll explain his fumbles, and please rethink your opinions on the tailback that broke the Michigan career rushing yards record. He had a great game today.
The icing on the cake.....I won $250 bucks on this game! Woohooo!!!
Congrats, Katie.
I was wondering about your sizeable wager.
If it's your younger brother, the high road would be to just make him buy you some UM parephenalia, not collect the 250$
I'm one of those folks Troy Smith talked about.I never went to Michigan ... as a student though I'm a fan. He talked about us and our juco education. I admit that I don't spell or write as well as my better educated brethern, but on game day I bleed Blue. The first time I was there I was eight years old and in Motts Childrens hospital. I had a retnal detachment that needed U+M or Boston to fix. I was there a month and had four surgeries. While there away from family one of Bo's boys came and visited me. He got them to let me out of bed if he promised to not let me down, and then took me out side for a breath of winter air. My first in weeks. It turns out that even U-M couldn't fix my eye. Later in life a visiting surgeon from Iowa worked on me at Kelloge. Later still one of U-M's surgeons fixed my youngest daughters eyes. Troy, I was there though not as you think would be appropriat for a U-M fan. Thanks to Lloyd and Bo for making men that would go and spend time with children that they don't know. God Bless and GO BLUE!
Congrats to the Wolverines.
@Tom C
I, too, never attended UM. My family moved to Belleville when I was 7, and I was indoctrinated to UM sports. My first memory of watching football is of a winged helmet. It's something that will never fade. Today, as it is every day, I am proud to say I support the University of Michigan.
Killing my liver, My other brother, my father and my mother all called me before my little brother did and begged me to not make him pay...LOL. My little brother called and I said "I will let you out of the bet if you wish me to" He said, "hell no, we shook on it, I just get to contribute to a Michigan grad students education, the check is in the mail" He is pretty cool for a sparty fan! I am going to save it though and see if I can't buy some tickets for the sparty game this next year and bring him in for the game!
Congrats Michigan! Awesome game. Glad it ended this way for Lloyd.
I so want to see Hawaii win! It is not looking good at the moment!
Wow. I only got to see the fourth quarter. The people I was with thought I had lost it. Me rooting for Michigan was a huge disconnect for them. I promised them I would start therapy tomorrow.
Congratulations, maize & blue. You did us all proud. It was soooo satisfying to watch Turpid Fryer's facial expressions after last year's fiasco.
Hooray for Katie. The faith bet paid off.
I was moved watching Lloyd ride on his players shoulders. I almost got emotional seeing the joy on his face during the post-game interview.
All is well in Big 10 Land.
Whetstone -
Appreciate your support. Hoping for an OSU win(Dammit) to really stick it to the SEC.
Whet, this hurts me but "GO BUCKS!"
Don't know what to think or do with RR.
From a frequent visitor of this site, a sportstalk show host, and a student at Florida State. It was great seeing the Gates lose. But even better was seeing one a coach who gave everything to his school and showed nothing but class the whole time while doing it go out on a high note. A perfect way to send Carr out and a big jump start towards next season in A2.
Hail to the Victors
(GD it- that's twice! )
Man, don't make me do this. Okay, nevermind- I'm sending you t shirts so by my count that absolves me from having to say "Go Bucks". Yes, as a logical being it should be just a phrase, but for the same reason I spontaneously scream out "GET YOUR HAND OFF HER KNEE- SHE'S NOT A WHORE!!!!" like a drunken tourets patient defending aunt Buela whenever I see that damn ESPN commercial, nothing makes logical sense when it comes to this rivalry.
Best sign today: "When you can get Rich, why would we settle for Les?"
The only thing left to say is Thank God bowl season is over, now my liver can rest.
Oh, and Tom, never let anyone tell you you don't have a right to root for the Blue- no one, period, ever.
Very good game UM. You looked great.
GO BUCKS -- BEAT LSU
Best sign correction: We, you, whatever. You guys know what I mean.
Congrats Blue. Was pulling for you more than I could ever imagine.
Thrilling game, unbelievable win. Today was possibly the best win that I have experienced (so far) in my 4-year love affair with Michigan football. I don't see much better wins coming after this. It was a great emotional win and it was just great to see Coach Carr get sent off the right way. So maybe there are happy endings for Michigan. Hopefully the RR era will be even better, but I am just so happy for Lloyd Carr and the boys. They played so well today, and yes, that includes Mike Hart. They played inspired football with such passion. This win is the perfect conclusion to such a heart-twisting season. Just, wow. Congratulations, Coach Carr!
I HOPE THAT SCUM BAG CUM DIES A SLOW DEATH
F*CK FLORIDA AND THAT F*GGOT URBAN CRYER
Now now. First of all, I'm not a fan of the word "faggot." Second, Urban Cryer may be a douche, but he has been all class when talking about Michigan this past week, and sung our praises.
Still, revenge was sweet. And what was up with all of the trash-talking? I was a little surprised. I am extremely happy for the team, but they should be classier than that. I mean, we're Michigan, not Ohio St, Illinois, or Miami.
Oh my God. I am still reeling from that fantastic win. It really is great to be a Michigan Wolverine.
I'm not a fan of the CAPS LOCK. For crying out loud, it's 2008. Ditch the all caps. If you cannot keep up with the times, it makes me wonder if you're sporting a mullet while cruising in your IROC Z-28?
It's midnight where I am, and I'm STILL excited about this game. Absolutely incredible. It was all any Michigan fan could have asked out of them. Congrats to Lloyd and the seniors.
Thanks for all the nice comments, Buckeye fans. Now it's your turn to go out and trash the SEC. Don't let us down, eh?
"I mean, we're Michigan, not Ohio St, Illinois, or Miami."
feelin' blue,
No offense to you; just an observation.
I can't speak for Illinois or Miami, nor would I want to, but "team" trash-talking wasn't part of tOSU's M.O. this year (A normal reaction to the humiliation of getting your ass kicked in front of the whole world in a NC game).
Trash talk did warrant a blip on the college football radar this year as regards a certain Michigan half-back. What made this "team" trash talking was the defense mounted for the boorish behavior. No one wanted to reel [Name Redacted]in. It carried over to the field. By the end of the year the UM faithful were getting sick of it.
Even if one can back up one's trash talk with action it still is a classless thing to do.
Enjoy your victory. Your team earned it the old fashioned way. It made us conference homers happy.
mr.:
You sir, are an idiot. I, for one, am ashamed to share an allegiance to the same school as you, though based on your comments I'm guessing you didn't get that attitude from education at U of M or education anywhere for that matter. It is no wonder your profile is private, if I was as ignorant as you have proven to be I wouldn't claim my comments either. Or perhaps cowardice is the reasoning behind it, as that would not surprise me at all.
Oscar Wilde once said "The only thing that ever consoles man for the stupid things he does is the praise he always gives himself for doing them."
Praise yourself much, because you'll get none from those of us who contribute intelligent conversation to this board.
Or, to put it in terms more conducive to your understanding...
I'd call you a retarded donkey, but that would be a disservice to both the mentally challenged and donkeys. You're a fucking moron, and I'm guessing the only reason you watch michigan football is because at one point and time it was the cool thing to do in your trailer park. So do me a favor and the next time you're in public refrain from wearing any michigan gear, just stick to the regular wife beater- you showing your support is embarassing to those of us with brains. fucking moron.
NOW GO PLAY IN TRAFFIC WITH THAT OTHER IDIOT!
First off, screw you Joshua for my posting an opinion that doesn't fit with yours perfectly. Yes, Hart is amazing and I truly think he is great, but I was simply speaking of his performance in this particular game!! The whole team stepped up and played like the team we all knew they were!! The caps lock thing was a fluke, I was just typing and sent it without cking it first-relax!!! I am a true Blue fan and my OPINION,(oops, the dreaded caps again)was not a personal attack on any of you!!!
but "team" trash-talking wasn't part of tOSU's M.O. this year (A normal reaction to the humiliation of getting your ass kicked in front of the whole world in a NC game)
As you say... just an observation, but did you actually see any tOSU games this year? And tSOU, as a team, going to midfield during warmups and doing that swarm dance thing while talking trash to the other team? It was a play right out the FSU v Miami or Miami v UF playbook.
And before you respond with the canned tSOU response "it happens everywhere"... perhaps, and there's plenty of Michigan supporters who have already commented against Michigan doing it this weekend.
Spare me the phony indignation.
Joshua... unfortunately, not all Michigan Men and Women are cut from the same ideal fabric. The Unabomber and Ann Coulter are both alums. Arrrghhhh!
Joshua talks about intelligent conversation on this site and his first entry is about losing his virginity to a relative. Nice. All he does is slam on people with varying opinions. Where's the maturity in that?!
Go crawl in a hole or take some valium or something.
Kristy, sweetie, just let it go. Your comment was flaming about a beloved player during a time that was a bit inappropriate. We all make mistakes, that includes you, Joshua, Mike Hart and Me. So, don't get your panties in such a wad, let's just enjoy a glorious victory for Michigan! Peace.
93,
Nope. Couldn't see any televised games half-time, pre-game or what not. I'll have to take your word for it. The only game I was able to view was the Michigan/tOSU game.
My point was that around the horn this year, tOSU wasn't mentioned in the trash talk dept. You were. Deal with it.
"And tSOU, as a team, going to midfield during warmups and doing that swarm dance thing while talking trash to the other team? It was a play right out the FSU v Miami or Miami v UF playbook."
Also, I don't use the "It happens everywhere" clause, however the above quote from you sounds a lot like it. I hear the phrase a lot from UM fans when they want to shift the spotlight from something unpleasant about themselves, but deliver an insult at the same time. Translation: "Your momma, now go away."
For your own edification, I wasn't feeling indignant, but if I ever am it won't be phony.
Patronize someone else.
Kristy has some spunk. I think I'm in love.
Not patronizing at all... it's hard to do that to someone who's sole contribution in here it to stir up the pot and put the home side down. And secondly, I'm just pointing out your hypocrisy -- you can spin/retort/twist my posts anyway you want but I'm not buying a word of your 12:59 post.
I've said it before, I'll say it again. Florida is NOT in the same class as the Big Ten and Michigan, I thought they would have learned from the last time we pasted them in thier back yard.
93,
You know nothing about my presence here. That's obvious. Twisting, spinning and ignorance seems to be your cup of tea; right up there with reading comprehension.
I think I pointed out that hypocrisy is your area of expertise, but apparently you felt the need to demonstrate it yet again. Be my guest. The soil is loose--keep digging.
Perfect point about the "Speed" comments. Here are the NFL starters per team for '07.
SEC (10.8), Big 10 (10.2), ACC (9.4), Pac-10 (8.1), Big 12 (7.3) and Big East (5.3)....
Do you see the huge gap to the Big-10?, I don't.
When UM lost to App State the announcers really said that Michigan just looked slower than App State. It blows my mind how lazy analysts and "experts" are throwing around that word. Like you said when UM's D-line is blowing up Florida's line, and their recievers are TORCHING Florida, it's not speed... Florida "didn't want to be there".... right. It makes me sick but the numbers tell the real story. We still lead all time in the Outback/Capital One Bowl, but don't tell them that, they don't like facts in the SEC.
THANKS MICHIGAN!, and GO BUCKS!
My father played football for Ohio State and I went there and our family dislikes the Wolverines--BUT we offer our most sincere congrats to y'all on a great victory and thanks to a class guy, Lloyd Carr, for being such a terrific foe. You did the Big Ten proud and you did what we couldn't: shut up the effin' Gators.
