Big Dicks at Wisconsin

Yeah, yeah, I know: this is a lazy-ass excuse for a day's worth of posts. But, alas, I have a ton o' stuff to wrap up on the work end before the holidays.

Behold, your coaching search is over. Bill Martin had talks with this guy. I think his name is Richard or something like that. Personality was perfect for a head coach position. The only negative noted is an over-inflated ego.

Shouldn't be a problem to hire him away from Wisconsin.

Oh aren't you clever Whets. My thoughts traveled a path slightly more sexual in nature. And, no, I won't share those here, I might be banned for life. :o)

Maybe I am the only one noticing this. Since Thanksgiving, Yost has been especially busy with work, and noted that real life doesn't give a shit about his blogging (some big, end of the month deadline driving his schedule?). He's always moderated the site by knowing who is cool and who's a dick. Lots of nice healing pictures of naughty coeds. And now, he has "a ton of stuff to wrap up." What's next, no new post today because "I had to get reindeer feed."? We're on to you, buddy.
p.s. Will you bring me a defense.

and, where, pray tell is Benny???

slacker!

T-9,
you want to see the Know Your Foe on Florida now? I don't think that's going to happen :-)

Oh Yeah said...

goat7ed:

That was funny!!! you actually made me laugh outloud on that one. Makes sense!!!

All I want for Christmas is a National Championship!!! I've been good this year!

WingRG said...

oh yeah,
you might get your wish yet. This time it's our opponents that are making the banquet circuit. My wish is Glenn Dorsey getting about 20-25 pounds heavier. If i can get that for X-mas (the good Jew that i am) i'll be all set

Out of Conference said...

I don't know Wingrg - if you're standing there, checking off your receivers (or hiking alone in the Pacific Northwest) and the pocket starts caving in around you (tall trees start getting knocked down in all directions), do you think it matters if Bigfoot has an extra 20-25 lbs on him or not as he comes crashing into your world with you on its mind? Me? - I would start squealing like a 2nd grader playing kill the man with 5th graders- "Ok, I'm down, I'm down!!!"

WingRG said...

OOC,

if those 20lbs make the Big Foot slower, than i'll take my chances. I'm not really worried about the passing game, i'm confident our line will hold up. I think Dorsey will effect the running game more.

As i keep telling people: keep writing that OSU has no chance. That's what i want to hear :-)

BARman said...

Isn't it obvious what is going on with Yost?? HE's the next head coach. Already been hired.

Oh Yeah said...

"That's what i want to hear"

Amen, brother.

You're a gift wrapper?

You need a degree from University of Michigan for that nowadays?

ohio_guy said...

that vidoe makes me think that maybe they're compensating for something....

Out of Conference said...

Don't think that I don't think OSU has a chance. I've known what the predicted outcome for MNC games in the last few years has been too well to subscribe to any of that jazz.

goat7ed,
The Santa thing's brilliant.

I'd leave my list here, but I think we've already covered the investment savvy supermodel who loves to cook (when she's not busy shagging me rotten) angle.

Katie said...

I am not sure if it is the fact that the regular football season is over, the fact that Yost is MIA, the depressing nature of the head coaching search, or the fact that Joshua has over exaggerated hopes for his next wife, but I am feeling such an gaping emptiness.....LOL. We need a party, or a road trip, or at the very least a few healing pics!

PARTY! PARTY! PARTY!

Wow. Espn.com lead video dealing with a Miles denial of being a candidate. Hoe does this guy not come here? Positively baffling. From a logical AND emotional standpoint (his i mean)it just dumbfounds me. I still won't believe it until we announce someone else and see the presser, but pretty damn strong denial right there. Couldn't be any more plain. Stupidity on my part, perhaps, but my gut says otherwise. It's like when they kill someone off on a soap opera- there's always the chance they're not dead. Maybe they had an evil twin, or.... maybe it was a dream, or... maybe they found a way to regenerate by eating massive amounts of twinkies, oh wait- that's the ending for "The Ballad of Charlie Weiss".

But then again, I'm the guy who thinks Tupac, Biggie, Princess Di, Cobain and Elvis are drinking Mai Tai's on a beach somewhere.

Katie said...

(Joshua, you watch soaps?)

I feel relief at his denial. And here is what I think is going to happen: (Mark my words)

First, he is playing for the NC, no matter how much emotion he has for Michigan, no one could drag him away from that.
Second, he does want to be at Michigan and that conversation was to hatch a plan to bring him here (unfortunately)
English will be named as interim coach and coach for one season. Miles will come the following season.

You heard it here first. (and obviously this is my own pure speculation and there is no fact whatsoever to back that up)

Joshua said...

Sorry Katie- downer post. And over exaggerated? Hello! Have you met me? OH, wait......

Ok, more realistic expectation: I can learn to cook, and she can just give me massages and stuff while I do.

But back to that "have you met me" comment.....
God I hate Star trek, but this is just so....apropoe...apropoh...apru
....appropriate!

And no on the soap operas, but I write thriller's- Holy Shit Moments are my specialty. And everyone knows about that season of Dallas when Bobby dreamed it all, that's just pop culture. (But damn if Melrose Place wasn't a fine show.)

Oooh, good twist on the speculation, but I really hope you're wrong. I'll shit a live chicken if this happens.

Katie said...

LOL@Joshua - Keep working it my friend! Just remember, if you find a beautiful woman, who can talk football and finance, she is probably smart enough to also figure out that you are full of shit. :o)

I am trusting you to remember that I posted this speculation of mine, because I have a gut feeling that this is going to happen, and then I expect photos of you shitty that live chicken :o)

Petrino resigned from the Falcons and is headed to Ar-kansas.

Meanwhile, BM is working out a deal to bring the tag team coaching duo of Andy Dick and Mario Lopez. You know, cause that would make sense just like the rest of this search.

Fiddlesticks.

"...she is probably smart enough to also figure out that you are full of shit. "

I can deal with that.

TitleIX said...

Katie-does joshua get to decide if the chicken comes out feet first or beak first????

winger--
not looking for a KYF today from Bennie, but just figured that if this were some sort of team effort, ol' Bennie boy would step up while Yost was on the mat.
But...
wait....
We never see Bennie AND Yost at the same time....

you don't think?
Bennie = Yost
Yost = Bennie??

naaaahhh.

Katie said...

LOL@T9, hmmm...good question, I think it would be quite the feat, so maybe he should be allowed to determine the position.

I think barman might be on to something though, Yost is the next coach, he had to go MIA in order to not leak this to the media. I wonder when the presser will come?

Joshua said...

Then I'll shit an egg, just to lay that question to rest.

Katie said...

Not so fast young man, you said you would shit a live chicken, changing to an egg now....well.....that is a "chciken" thing to do....hee hee.

Joshua said...

No, I meant "then" as in afterward, not as opposed to, in order to answer the age old question of- oh nevermind- I'm amending my first statement.

....I'll shit a live chicken sideways if this happens.

Joshua said...

The chicken will be sideways, not me.

Katie said...

LOL@Joshua, God I hope I am right!

PLAGERISM METER!!!

Ok folks, help a girl out here. I'm minding my own business, reading Monday's AA News and at the bottom of Geoff Larcom's column I read this:
"Think about it. What if former Athletic Director Don Canham had operated in the age of teh Internet and talk radio? We'd have creamed Canham for failing to land his top guy, a rising star named Joe Paterno."

OK, SERIOUSLY.....DIDN'T I READ THAT EXACT SAME THING HERE SOMEWHERE????

joshua: which came first? Larcom or Bloggers????

Katie said...

Well, well, maybe they will post the photos of Joshua shitting a live chicken when my prediction comes to fruition!! :o)

In the interest of taste I won't post the first answer that popped into mind. Who knew that the combination of fowl and my ass would garner such attention. I mean sure, there was that party back in '97 when everyone went wild, but I thought that was just an aberration.

whetstonebuck said...

"In the interest of taste I won't post the first answer that popped into mind."

Joshua,

I'm sure you meant "pooped" into your mind--context and all.

However, "taste" and "poop" should never be used in the same sentence.
