* BO'S LASTING LESSONS, a book finished just before legendary Michigan football coach Bo Schembechler passed away last November, is now available. According to the book description, Bo "draws on his years of experience, using first-person anecdotes to deliver timeless lessons on leadership, motivation and responsibility. His distinctive gruff voice leaps from the page."

* "Maze" and Blue - If you build it...it will look just like former President and U-M alum Gerald Ford. A corn maze has been built in the likeness of the ex-Prez at a farm in Richland, Michigan. Yeah, I know, and we thought we had a lot of time on our hands as bloggers.

* Just a reminder that the online U-M auction benefiting the Pat Maloy Cancer Scholarship is going on until the end of October. Items up for bid include a large number of Michigan football-related and other sports memorabilia.
