Nice to see Mighty Michigan is known and respected the world over. I mean, you don't see a lot of University of Dublin tees over at Target here on the other side of "the pond," right?
But lest this here Michigan fan get too cocky, check out the actual shirt...

Sweet Jesus! What did we ever do to the (Northern) Irish to deserve such blasphemy?
Not only aren't those Michigan colors, uh, that's a very "birdy" looking Wolverine mascot on there as well. As Matt points out on his site, "Since the tag says 'Made in Pakistan,' we can only assume that someone went to Ann Arbor, got lost in Ypsilanti, saw the university, and came back to Europe with misinformation about the University of Michigan."
And what the hell is with the "Live & Learn" slogan on there?
Ok, I admit it: I want one.
UPDATE: Just realized the links to Matt's site above were wrong. My bad. They're corrected now.

This is fairly common in Europe and the rest of the world.
The shirts sell whether the sweatshop owners bother to get the colors right or not.
I was in Ireland recently and they were also selling OSU t-shirts. They were hot pink and had a "Hello Kitty" mascot on them. Granted, they didn't get the Michigan shirt correct, but they were right on target with the OSU merchandise.
I am going to Ireland in 2 weeks. I will pick a few up for all my friends & family
Andy - have a great time, but if cash runs short, I'd probably switch to purchasing stout instead. I read somewhere that they make a pretty good one there- and don't be f'ing it up with a layer of Bass ale either.
I saw a Buffalo Bills Super Bowl champs t-shirt in Singapore a few years ago. I guess the rest of the world gets the sideline ready t-shirt rejects.
They know more about you than you know about them: Pakistan happens to be an Asian country, and not European, as some of you have suggested.
Thank you, Professor wingrg. Gee, didn't know that. Asia is a continent, right?
While living in Switzerland... I actually see correct Michigan gear... but that is because we have alums at CERN.
So far I've spotted correct Michigan items in Spain, France, and Italy.
I hear that in Dublin, the Notre Dame shirt is blue with a wolverine on it...
Hmmm... I don't see where anyone has suggested Pakistan is in Europe.
I do suggest that wingrg has a reading comprehension problem.
Isn't "78-0970" Ed Martin's old prison inmate number?
RTBDTHRTR:
here's a part (of the original post) that i thought suggested that Pakistan is in Europe:
"Since the tag says 'Made in Pakistan,' we can only assume that someone went to Ann Arbor, got lost in Ypsilanti, saw the university, and came back to Europe with misinformation about the University of Michigan."
Since it says came BACK to Europe, that suggested (to me) that the maker of the shirt is from Europe.
Reading is fundamental, my friend.
