Weird. My grad school alma mater eliminates my undergrad. Would have liked it the other way, though--always felt more Wolverine than beaver.
"Thank you, I just had it stuffed"
Nice T9!
Good run you guys. Can't wait to see what your baseball stadium renovations looks like next season. It would nice if your success this season translated into some nice upgrades, but I bet your AD has football in mind when spending big cheese.
Sonny Elliot! That's a name I haven't heard since...
I remember watching “At the Zoo with Sonny Elliot” as a kid. Now you just need to work in some references to George Pierrot, Bill Kennedy, and Arthur Penhollow.
Thanks OOC! Jim, glad to see you have your priorities straight! BPD, do you remember Mr. Scary, Dick Purtan, or Sir Ghastly Graves? How about Farrell's Ice Cream?
Congrats to U of M Baseball on a fine season!
What a killer run it would have been... The regular season #1 in Vandy. The defending champs in OSU. And the winner of OSU/UM gets CSF... holy shit!
Talk about murder's row!
Go Blue!

You mean Sir Graves Ghastly, whom I definitely remember as exposing me to classic Universal Sudios horror films of the 30's and 40's. I also watched low budget monster movies with the Ghoul.
I do remember Dick Purtan on the radio but don't remember Mr. Scary. Jackson didn't have a Farrel's Ice Cream, though so I have no memory of that, either.
Mr. Scary would come on Detroit TV around Halloween and show movies with 3D overlays. You'd have to go down to Farmer Jacks to buy glasses for 50 cents. It was kinda like Mystery Science Theater 3000 with bad B horror flicks and a guy dressed up like Dracula.
