"Terry Hoeppner was the embodiment of the very best qualities that are admirable in a coach. He was a man of integrity and passion; he loved his players and he loved the game. He represented the highest ideals of intercollegiate athletics. His legacy will endure but his presence will be greatly missed. Our deepest sympathies are extended to his family and all who loved him." -- Michigan football coach Lloyd H. Carr.
Hear hear coach... his influence on IU football over the past 2 years has been nothing short of amazing. I imagine that locker room will have a bit of a "win one for the Gipper" motivation this season.
Absolutely right...I'll be rooting for IU Football this season, I know my friends who went to Miami are mourning him as much as anyone. An absolute shame.
RIP, Coach
with him and coach walker dying in the past year, it's not safe to be a big ten coach lately
thank god Coach Carr is in perfect health!!!!!
