Uh, which is the humiliating side again?

A mother in Grand Rapids, Michigan is being applauded for the creative punishment she handed out to her 15 year old son.

According to the story linked above, "the woman's son was suspended from school for 10 days for some horseplay with a teacher. She wanted her son to have a more memorable punishment than being out of school, so she sent him out to pick up trash on a busy city street wearing an embarrassing sign on his back."

But after viewing a video clip and news pictures from the incident, we here at the MZone are confused. Because while it says the mother made him wear "an embarrassing sign on his back," this is the sign on his back...

And while that's bad, check out what he was wearing on his front...

Now do you see where our confusion arises? To us, that is the punishment. I mean, talk about embarrassing. In fact, it's downright cruel.

And if the Tosu shirt was the mother's idea as well, then I think this woman needs to be turned in to social services. Immediately. Because this is child abuse, folks. And it must be stopped.

Answer: February 24, 2004.

Question: When was the last time UM defeated OSU in either football or basketball (men's or women's). Now THAT'S humiliating!

That mother should be congratulated for having that idea.

What the FUCK does that have to do with this thread? Stop trolling and get a life. OSU's success over UM stops this coming season. Have you not come to the realization yet that your entire offense has been depleted? The one who left early realized that they can get paid more by an NFL team than Tressel can...

You are obsessed with Michigan...face it. Otherwise, you would not be trolling a Michigan blog site.

For what it's worth (and it's not worth much in the national picture), I think Michigan swept the Buckeyes in baseball this year. I could be wrong, but I know Micigan won the series. I apologize for even bringing up college baseball on a northern blog.

Actually, the Baseball Boys in Blue are ranked 23rd in the nation and are currently hosting the Big Ten Baseball Tourney here in Ann Arbor. #1 seed Michigan plays the #6 seed, tOSU tonight at 7:05 PM at beautiful Ray Fisher Stadium. Game time conditions are expected to be fanstastic with clear skies, temps in the mid 80s with minimal wind.

GO BLUE
CRUSH THE BUCKEYES

I have an Ohio State T-shirt that I will gladly trade for a shirt that says, "I made a bad choice of schools, and now I'm paying for it."

While this may be true, it is also true that this site is obsessed with OSU.

You're right T9 - #23 in Baseball America's poll, but not ranked in any of the other 4 big polls.

Simulated RPI (NCAA doesn't release RPI data on baseball during the regular season) and Boyd's rating puts you somewhere in the top 30's, which should secure an invitation to an NCAA regional. A #112 strength of schedule doesn't help, but to your credit, there aren't very many good baseball schools within bus distance from AA to boost that number. I've see one projection that sees you guys going to the Austin regional. Should be a great trip if they go and as BiB would agree, there aren't very many better places to catch a college game than Disch-Falk Stadium.

I think next season the uniform start date rule takes effect that Northern schools pushed for because of the weather in Feb in the north. It will take 2-3 seasons to see if it will be the great equalizer that Delaney claims.
