Immediately after the announcement was made, Holtz began downplaying his team's chances, telling reporters his squad doesn't have a shot against the Gold and that his boys shouldn't even be on the same field with Parseghian's team. When reminded that it was just an intra-squad scrimmage, Holtz became confused and hinted he might be forced to pull out the lucky Irish green jerseys since his side would be such heavy underdogs and would need all the luck they could muster just to keep the game close. In a related story, upon hearing that Holtz would again be roaming the sidelines and coaching a college football team, the NCAA has said they will start an immediate investigation of the Notre Dame program on April 22nd. School officials however don't think the sanctions will be that severe saying they believe Holtz can't possibly leave behind too many infractions only coaching the Irish for one afternoon.

So I'm guessing the Blue squad won't get a chance to showcase any offensive talent except through draw plays regardless of the possibility that there is a #1 draft pick WR on the team like was the case at his last coaching job?
I'm betting Weis makes all of the players on the blue team wear those eye-protecting visors inside their facemasks.
you forgot the part where notre dame fired lou and ara immediately upon finding out how old they were
