I guess we should be careful what we ask for here at the MZone.
After getting some emails from Buck fans who claimed one of the alleged perps on a recent episode of NBC's To Catch a Predator was sporting a very, uh, familiar looking hat, we asked our readers to send us a link if they had it. To prove your case. Well, you did (damn you).
Now keep in mind, this show was shot in Texas and the town name started with an "M" so maybe (hopefully) this wasn't a Michigan hat at all. I mean, that doesn't even look like a block M. To me, that's more of a...uh...balloon, yes, a "Balloon M." And I wouldn't call that hat maize. Hell no. It's practically orange. Seriously.
Oh, and if you're a Buckeye fan who's new to this site, before you throw any stones in the comments section regarding this post, first check out this link from inside your glass house.

Looks like there are a lot of glass houses on this street and Michigan's was the house of the week.
That hats clearly orange. I don't even think the M was Blue. More of a violet. LOL

The sad reality is that it seems to be a serious problem all over the country, from all walks of life.
I've seen a lot of differnt variations of UM hats...and that definitely could be one of them. Also, the picture clarity is not that great....so it's hard to tell between orange and yellow.

The perp's screen ID has the word "Brighton" in it. This is, of course, the same name as an upscale town that is basically a shared suburb of Detroit and Ann Arbor.

mgoblue93, not only is Chris Hansen a former WDIV reporter, he's also a Sparty! So you know if it was a Michigan hat he would have gotten in a comment about it.
