The Oakland Raiders hired 31 year old USC offensive coordinator Lane Kiffin as its head coach making him the youngest NFL head coach since the days of leather helmets.
Thirty-one?! Marty Schottenheimer has socks older than that. Most BYU players are just finishing their sophomore year at that age.
And don't I feel like a schlep. Although, I did take my Madden '07 team to the Super Bowl the other day. So blow me, Lane.

I've got one word for all the NFL coaching shenannigans (including the damned Lions)
NEPOTISM
Beast: thought I'd save you the trouble ;-)
nep·o·tism Pronunciation[nep-uh-tiz-uhm]
(noun). patronage bestowed or favoritism shown on the basis of family relationship, as in business and politics: She was accused of nepotism when she made her nephew an officer of the firm.
from Dictionary.com
The Doogie howser that just announced he's coming out of the closet or the Doogie Howser in "Harold and Kumar go to White Castle"? "White Castle" Doogie was a load of fun and would make a better coach for the Vikings on their next rookie cruise.
Oh Snap: Pronunciation [Oh-snap]
{exclamation}. Verbal reaction to witnessing one getting annihilated: OOC shouted, "Oh Snap", Andy shouted, "You go girl!", and SiC shouted, "Two snaps up!" when T9 took the wood to Beast.
Raiders Hire Doogie Howser as Head Coach
You mean the new raider's coach is gay?
As a condition of the job offer, Al Davis is requiring that Kiffin enter nightly journal entries on a novelty oversized pc:
September 9, 2007-- "I learned a lot today: Coaching players older than I am is tough and starting Vinny Delpino at quarterback wasn't a great idea (though he was better than Aaron Brooks.) But I'm afraid my boss is a freaking loon. He makes the dying Howard Hughes seem like Ward Cleaver."
LOL, IC! Not only is the computer wildly oversized, but so is the font so that Al can read it through his old lady horn rimmed glasses on a chain whenever Doogie's out coaching.
And for all you wordsmiths out there, this Redneck Dictionary sampling is for you:
BARD - verb. Past tense of the infinitive "to borrow."
Usage: "My brother bard my pickup truck."
JAWJUH - noun. A highly flammable state just north of Florida.
Usage: "My brother from Jawjah bard my pickup truck."
MUNTS - noun. A calendar division.
Usage: "My brother from Jawjuh bard my pickup truck, and I aint herd from him in munts."
Boise State National Champs ????
LOL to all y'all :-)
ya heard it here first....
Raiders starting QB next year??
Jeff Garcia.
Doogie and Jeffy, sittin' in a tree....
(not that there is anything wrong with that)
As long as they're not micturating!!!
Nice, BiB!
