This Poll Is More Clear Cut

As opposed to the BCS, where there is room for argument about who's #2, the Bottom 10 by David Duffey at espn.com is much cleaner. There are two teams that went winless in this college football season, and they stand atop the new poll.

Seriously, in a case like this, shouldn't these teams have to play so that we have some closure as to who's the worst team in college football this year? I wouldn't pay money to see it, but if there was nothing else on, I'd certainly watch it. It is football, or a reasonable facsimile, after all.

Hell, I'd rather watch that than the MPC Computers Bowl. Or are they one and the same?

I'm not sure I could watch it, but I would certainly try. It would almost be like watching a game where your rival is playing and you are fervently rooting for them to lose and not really for the other team to win.

If I could make it through the first quarter I think I could watch the rest of the game. You never know, there could always be a late game collapse (because there couldn't possibly be big comeback). So long as there is more offense than there was in the ACC championship game, I would definitely be interested.

It's got to be better than "We are Marshall."

Temple's only win (their first in 2+ seasons) came against the Cincinnati Bearcats and Sparty's new coach: Mark Dantonio.

I have been hoping for this for years. The American Standard Toilet Bowl pitting the 2 worst teams against each other. The loser gets the trophy and title as crappiest team of the year

Um, no Andy. Temple's only win came against us. They beat us 28-14.

Could you imagine teams trying to lose on purpose to get into the Toilet Bowl? Never mind, I do not think any team could find enough motivation to purposely lose to get into the Toilet Bowl. Well, maybe MSU. They tend to have the proper mind set.

Interestingly, the article points out that 20 players on Florida's current roster were recruited by Ron Zook....

My bad. It was Bowling Green. Sorry Bearcat & Spartan fans.

Don't knock the MPC bowl, Benny....unfortunately it's the only bowl game we have in the northwest (can you believe it????). It's about 800 miles to the next closest game (in LA or Vegas).
