I don't get it, how did those 12 schools get picked for having their emblem on a leather throw-back era helmet? I mean, come on, don't you just think of Utah when you think of leather helmets duking it out on the gridiron?
I'm really disappointed that they have the gril for South Carolina. What sellouts. Next thing you know, will be that UofF is going to wear a Tostidos BCS patch on their jerseys.

those are the kind of helmets Michigan wore for 10 of their 11 national championships. (of course...some of those really early ones might have been before helmets all together)

I had the same thought about the leather helmets - what doesn't scream "old time gridiron" like Utah vs. Oregon State?
What's the deal for the UofM signed football for the 64-65 season that went to the Rose Bowl stuck at 199.00 all day. Is this going to get busy closer to the deadline, or is it suspected to be a fake?
If Nebraska did use those old leather style hemets they'd still look 1000 times better than those jokes the Blew wear.
