these jokers don't stop
Yost,
Is there any way I can get to read the transcript, or even better, get the recorded feed somewhere?
Thanks!
Good job guys, I only got to listen for a short time but from what I heard I really thought you guys sounded great.
I am a little disappointed because I didn't get to see what the Mzone boys look like. Oh well I have a vivid imagination. And I was expecting to hear some northern accents. Are you guys from Michigan??
Anon,
Working on it.
OU,
Yes, originally.
You missed the worst Keith Jackson impression known to man.
j/k
Yost, you were outstanding.
I was impressed, a semi-quasi radio personality who has his own material and doesn't need to act like a jackass. Who'd have thunk it? Plus, you didn't have comercial breaks to hide behind.
Great show, glad I was able to participate. Can't wait to do it again.
OU Blonde, people from Michigan don't have accents, WE are the ones who speak normally.
Dear Baggy,
Geez, I didn't mean to offend you, but you know as well as I do that there are regional accents.
It's not like I'm making fun of the northern accent, unlike you doing so with the southern accent.
I talk to a Michigan guy at my gym and yes he has a distinct northern accent, not a big deal.
ou blonde,
I was not offended, I'm generally not serious enough to get offended. I was just playfully teasing you, many people feel they have no accent--I always did--when they really do. I think midwesterners--with their generally bland speach think they have even less of an accent than most.
If you really want to get folks from Michigan to verbally display where they are from just get them to to call soda "pop," a practice I've long since abandoned since I used to get some really odd looks.
Sorry if you thought I was jumping all over you, I didn't mean to give that impression.
Thanks baggy,
It's hard to tell the tone of a message when it's written. I figured that you were a little ticked off by my comment. I’m glad that I did not offend you.
Unfortunately I really don't have a mid-western/southern accent, but I wish I did. Believe it or not but this Okie never says ya'll!
Anyhoo its good to have this cleared up and hey no hard feelings! Have a wonderful weekend :)
ou blonde,
I'm happy to straighten that out for you, hope you're weekend was good as well.
