"Lack of excitement?" That USC-WSU game nearly gave me a heart attack, which brings me to my point...
Injuries, youth and two tight games against Arizona and Washington State lead me to believe that the Trojans are not the 2nd-best team in the land.
For the life of me, I can't remember seeing a holding call on the offensive line get waived off. USC is a pure media team.
I think Clemson is a bit underrated. They're a good team, probably the best in the ACC, which I know isn't saying much. But still good nontheless.
U$C is overrated. How the hell did they give Washington a chance to win the game?
i agree with most of your picks...but that florida one just doesnt sit well with me. I'm pretty much sure that LSU is gonna show how overated they are. I dont just think the tigers will win...but they'll win big.
I think you just earned "Mr. Stubborn" with that ballot.
agreed- there was no lack of excitement. with all the IAA upsets and unlikely undefeateds, and heisman candidate from the MAC about to set an astronimical record, very exciting.
agreed- clemson a good team. ACC is represented by GT and clemson, not miami & VT.
FSU is somewhere in the middle, will still lose 4 games, and make a decent bowl game.
I agree with the Clemson comments. Clemson would be really dangerous if it could make extra points and cover kickoffs.
Georgia and Oregon are not worthy of top 15 consideration.
Rutgers (and anything else in New Jersey) would never make any of my top 25 lists.
Only an idiot would put USC over Auburn.
Auburn 40
Washington State 14
USC 28
Washington State 22
(and WSU almost scored the winning TD)
Re: Anon 3:31 comments-
If UGA was stuck with their 3+ string QB the rest of the season, I'd agree that a top 15 is probably a little high, but with Tdjasfgweuiyfg coming back, I'd have to believe that a top 15, or even top 10 ranking would be reasonable.
sorry I meant anon 2:33.
how do you tell them apart, they all look alike to me.
Why is Oregon 8 spots ahead of Oklahoma?
Oregon up 8 on OU, yeah that's a head-scratcher. Not nearly as big as the RUTGERS ranking though. Putting Rutgers in your top 25 should be punishable by deportation.
Anon-
Why the hate on Rutgers? Just because a program's been historically bad doesn't mean they are this year. They're 5-0, with wins over other BCS conference opponents. They have a very good shot at finishing with at least 8 wins.
