Another Michigan preview

MZone reader Nicole sends us this look at the 2006 Wolverines courtesy of Milwaukee Journal Sentinel.

Always interesting to see what folks outside Detroit area have to say about the team.

Hey guys,
I have an off topic question. My buddy and I are thinking about going up to Ann Arbor this season and watching the Michigan v. Iowa game. My question is if you know how much scalped tickets go for. I looked online at many sites and even crap seats are still around $100. Any chance of getting them cheaper around the stadium, or am I SOL? Thanks for your help

I'd say that depending on which game and Michigan's record at the time, I've seen them go for face value ($50ish for Iowa) on the street as you get closer to game time. At the very least I'd say to save your $100, come to Ann Arbor, and for $100 (and most likely a bit less) you can definitely pick up tickets from a scalper at the game.

If you get down on Friday, stop by the Michigan Union (State St.) in the evening, there are usually scalpers already waiting out there, and you might be able to negotiate better with one of them.
