Battle of the Super Models? Are you kidding me?
This is worse than those gaudy Rose Bowl t-shirts by grandmother used to buy me for Christmas from Sears when I was a little kid. I think I'd rather get a NASCAR tee as they're more subtle.

Worse Than A NASCAR T-Shirt
Saw over on THE HOUSE ROCK BUILT that Notre Dame has unveiled its gameday t-shirts for the 2006 season and we totally agree with HRB that the one for the M/ND clash is, uh...not good. Judge for yourself (and no, we didn't Photoshop this):

I don't even understand this.
Did you see the one for ND - Army?
"Brand on the rise vs. Brand on the run"
WTF?!?!?! Who were the marketing majors that came up with that one????
You have a game between the two most tradition-rich college football programs in the universe and you promote it--as if it even needs promoting--with a Victoria's Secret metaphor?
Who designed this shirt, the Appalachian State audio-visual department?
I question whether that UM/ND shirt is actually one they sell... it's not on the ND website.
In any event, I hope it's just a HRB joke... for our sake, and mostly, for Notre Dame's sake.
To quote noted American philospher Adam Sandler:
"WHO ARE THE AD WIZARDS THAT CAME UP WITH THIS ONE?!?!?"
They have covered this topic over at the BGS, along with having someone contact Notre Dame on the process of the shirt design, and have come to find out that the University is hardly involved with the process of designing the shirts. The UofM-ND shirt has been pulled off the shelves, which explains it not being on sale. The Army shirt along with a few others are also being pulled. Hopefully the new shirts will be designed with more input from someone who knows anything about respect toward the Armed Forces, and who knows anything about college football
