In last week's issue, The Sporting News had an article about former Michigan tight end Benny Joppru. Joppru, who had a solid senior season in Ann Arbor was a second round pick for the Houston Texans in the 2003 draft. Since then he's missed three full seasons - two due to a sports hernia, one because of a torn ACL.It made me think how lucky I am not to play football. No matter how much I work on these expense reports on my desk, I'm not going to tear an ACL doing it. And there's no way I'm going to get a sports hernia, though I once thought I pulled a hammy running for the bus. Plus, it's highly unlikely the guy a couple of cubicles over is going to hit me with the force of a hepped up Ray Lewis.
Of course Joppru is entering the final year of a $3.005 million contract. So maybe football's not such a bad career choice.

Did anyone else see this picture and immediately think it was a penis?
Just me? Nevermind.
What the hell are you talking about, King?
Benny is apparently not yet aware that Terry Tate was hired on in his office.
Hip reference, CO.
Not just you King, I thought I was seeing some sort of medical illustration showing a snipped vas deferens.
Right there in the gutter with you king and bpd. Obviously this means it's time for an update in the Coed Showdown.
