In the latest potential NCAA violation to be revealed, Trojan wideout Dwayne Jarrett paid only $650/month for his half of the rent on a $3,866 apartment he shared with QB Matt Leinert. Turns out, Leinert's father covered the tab for the difference (hey, at least Jarrett paid $650 a month more than Reggie Bush's family paid on "their" $757,000 house).

Fuck me -- Matt Leinart won a National Championship in 2003 and 2004, he won a Heisman Trophy in 2004 and battled to the last play in the BCS National Championship game in 2005. And yet, Yost still can't spell Matt's last name.
Yeah, tht makes sense considering how excited he is about these stories.
kinda like a LSU fan holding out resentment since the 2003-2004 Rose Bowl.
out of all the stories this one seems to be the most legit.
the Bush thing isfull of misinformation, Sanchez will be exonorated, WJ met with no one.
this one however is pretty lame.
I am sure move vans are busy at college campuses across the country.
Can't we go back to picking on tOSU?
I thought these things only came in 3's. Enough already!
This Buckeye prefers the shift in focus.
USC fans can dish it out, but surely can't take it.
It's always more fun to dish out than take.......
unless it's a piece of chocolate cake.
It's my understanding that if Leinart's dad paid for a non scholarship student that would be fine. I don't see why it's difficult for some of the 'sc fans and even people in their adminstration to see this is a violation. Minor but still a violation.
When athletes accept scholarships their are conditions. One is that you never accepted payments etc and another is that you can not accept payments/gifts from just about anybody in this world accept your parents or legal guardian.
Some high profile athletes feel they should get more. I think athletes should get some kind of allowance but it doesn't matter what I think or what the athletes think. The NCAA is very clear on the rules regarding exchange of gifts and money.
Good God! even our women's water polo team lost two matches in a row this weekend. Thank goodness for women's rowing.
stupid michigan fans wouldnt know anything about what it means to be elite. the only title you got you didnt deserve. nebraska would have wipped the floor with your sorry ass.
USC Owns -
Sort of like many believe very well may have happened just a few years ago during your very own split. You've had a great few years, no one's denying it. You've also had a bad week and a half, don't see why you'd deny that, either. Coach Carroll isn't...
Hey Uscowns--I don't think you've read this blog enough. Before you hammer the Michigan folks you should know they've been squarely in our corner with the billboard and lsuoverusc garbage. If we're absolved, I don't think you'll see any animosity here. Let's wait for all the facts to come forth and then we can properly point fingers where they belong.
All true, WDS.
What if nothing becomes of this?
Will people like Yost still be making "Dirty Sanchez" jokes and jibs at us paying players?
What if Nick Lachey was picking up another 3rd of the rent?
What if Jessica was the third roommate? Now, would THAT be worth it...???!!!
"nebraska would have wipped the floor with your sorry ass"--usc clown
Thank you for your keen analysis!

Come on, Dirty Sanchez is just too easy (always a good laugh too).

Well considering its know that this "sexual assault" had nothing to do with "penetration" I am sure it is out of bounds.
