M Zone March Madness

While some of you are busy filling out your brackets for that other March Madness which starts today, we here at the M Zone are beginning to fill out our bracket for the M Zone version of March Madness better known as the M Zone BCS: Blog Co-ed Showdown.

Recently selected by the committee are:

#4 seed Leilani Rios, a former Cal State Fullerton cheerleader who was kicked off the team when her coach found out she was working at the local strip club. Any chance of making it back on the team were probably ruined when she next posed for Playboy. But Cal State's loss is the M Zone's - and your - gain. And with credentials like this, she could turn out to be a formidable opponent. Leilani's first round match-up will be against...

#13 Kristi Yamaoka, the Southern Illinois University cheerleader who was injured after a fall during a Saluki basketball game. Yamaoka suffered a concussion and fractured vertebrae when she tumbled 15 feet from the top of a pyramid. But, as she was wheeled off the court on a stretcher, she moved her thumbs to the beat of the school fight song garnering a standing ovation from the crowd. She's tough and, if our readers vote with more than their mid section, could be a tough challenge for our #4 seed.

On the other side of the draw...

#7 seed Ashley, another Cal State Fullerton student who stars on the softball team and in cyberspace as Ashley May where her MySpace account has become the world's most famous non-porn site according to TheHaterNation. And while she's #4 on her team, she's #7 according to our seeding committee. And she'll be up against an interesting first round opponent in...

#10 seed, the "Bent Over Buckeye." We first saw this girl (at least one side of her) in our favorite "Fuck Michigan" picture of all time. And although we never saw her face, she just seemed so...committed to what she was doing in the picture, our selection committee thought she deserved an at-large bid as our #10 seed. Now, some folks say this is unfair that, if she wins against Ashley, she'll have to face another Buckeye in the Elite Eight but, well, we here at the M Zone have never been known to be fair to Buckeyes. Hell, they should be thrilled they have two teams in the Sweet 16 while, thus far, U-M has been shut out.

Finally, for your office pool, below is the bracket so far. Right click for a larger version so you can print it out and hang it next to the coffee machine. Trust us, female employees love that.

Big props to reader TMB for telling us about Ashley. Suggestions for co-eds to fill out the bracket are always welcome.

Thanks for the link to Ashley May's MySpace. That completely validated a comment I heard earlier tonight: That MySpace is "Flypaper for idiots."

Also, the clip I saw of the injured Saluki cheerleader on ESPN had her doing full arm movements while on the stretcher, not just thumb twitches...

LOL!!! And it's $580 mil worth of flypaper to the guys who just it to NewsCorp last year.

what, no love for the referral on Ashley Van Boxmeer? Come on now!

TMB,

Sorry 'bout that. Will post an update. Was doing this late last night and totally forgot who had sent the link.

Ok, put up a shout out. Thanks, TMB. My bad on initial oversight.

The BCS seeding is sort of rough on tosu. Both Bentover Buckeye and Ohio State Video chick are in the same bracket and may very well meet in the second round. IMO it would be a real shame to lose either of these highly qualified contestants so early in the Tournament

Yost said...

JF,

Yes, it is a shame these two fine competitors could meet so early. But #7 seed Ashley, if she brings her legions of MySpace fans to the M Zone, is going to be no pushover.

Yost: You raise a good point, one that made me go back for further research.

Having been to Columbus, it was hard for me to imagine that tosu could field two so qualified contestants. I've revisited both OSVC's tape and BB's photo. Now I am wondering---are they in fact the same girl? It would hardly be the first time tosu has engaged in questionable acts.

I urge the BCS committee to re-view the evidence and make a definitive ruling.

Wow, John, you raise explosive allegations for the BCS. Just know Benny and I will investigate such matters which go to the very heart of the integrity of this great championship. All we here at the M Zone have is our good, honorable name when posting pictures of scantily clad co-eds for male enjoyment. As such, we take this issue very seriously.

Please know, that we have received some further information on our #2 seed and will be posting it tomorrow.

no problem, just wanted my 15 mins of fame before i return to destroying value in the office. what about putting the other 2 cowgirls, Chrystal and Fabiola (see latest maxim for pics) as 2 more entrants? i will sludge around for more college hotties until my wife beats me senseless when she finds out what i'm doing.

I'd like to nominate Kansas State women's basketball player Claire Coggins, if only for this picture from Facebook:

Sorry, that first link should be:

Ugh, still not working - should be "eclaire.jpg" at the end of that link.

I think Fabiola is a great choice for #5 seed and that Chrystal is a very strong #8 seed.

To maximize fan involvement, though, you should reserve seeds 6 and 11 for a showdown between Auburn and Bama coeds. I suspect such a matchup would receive enough comments to rival the number in the Auburn mascot thread.

Theri Maa, Bhanchod! said...

john,

i would reverse those seeds, chrystal is definitely hotter than fabioloa

John Frum said...

TMB

Well, Chrystal is a bit thin for my taste, TMD. But as the saying goes "That's why they play the games" and we can only thank the M-Zone for sponsoring this competition to finally determine which contestant can win it all.

Theri Maa, Bhanchod! said...

john frum,

you make valid points and certainly this is the most eagerly anticipated tournament i've ever been privy to. That said, i'm all about the proportion of boobs to body....while fabiola is no slouch, Chrystal has skinny body and supple, perky boobs. Total winner. My wife won't let me take out a 2nd mortgage on the house to buy her some boobs, she gets mad for some reason. I guess she wants those things slapping at her knees. I think i'm talking out loud again.

John Frum said...

TMB: How can your wife be such a spoilsport?

ps. I've not spoken Hindi in a long time and my Punjabi was never strong so my translation might be off but I doubt it.

Theri Maa, Bhanchod! said...

john frum,

you are my hero, you know hindi and punjabi or are at least familiar? that is awesome. Even w/ rough hindi, i think you know what my name means. if not, i will translate. rock on.

John Frum said...

TMB

Only familiar with the languages, TMB. And yes, my reference was to your name, which I certainly never expected to see on a football blog.

Theri Maa, Bhanchod! said...

good enough for me John Frum. I am trying to rock the establishment like Marty Mornhinweg did to logic during his 2 yr stint w/ the Lions

Another late tourney entry should go to Lauren Bowden. Ol' Bobby's grandbaby. Definitely a #5 of 6 seed. Here's to angry boyfriends everywhere!! Keep postin' those pics gentlemen.

Anon,

With the BCS ideas? If so, yes. Thanks. Just sorting through all the emails we've received with ideas trying to figure out who to use (while devoting at least 5 min each day to our jobs).
