Snopes.com, the best source on the Web for finding out whether that chain email in your inbox is true or false, has weighed in on the SC cheerleader seemingly cheering for a Texas TD.
They say the answer in inconclusive since we don't know the context (was it really a photo of a UT TD or just a close try for a first down that, from her angle, she thought had been stopped).
The plot thickens.
P.S. If you're not a Snopes.com reader, it's a great site. Very handy for that one person who forwards you all that Internet crap with 6 feet of headers, sends you the latest "100% true" story sweeping the Net. You know, guys like "Steve."

I thought the play in the picture was the two-point conversion with 19 seconds left. Maybe she was cheering because she had the over in Vegas.

i checked snopes yesterday and it hadn't shown up yet. Figured it would make its way there eventually.
